Artian AI is delivering a platform built for the next wave of intelligent automation.
Although robotic process automation (RPA) is a steadily growing $28 billion market, it's becoming clear that legacy players aren’t ready for the coming AI-driven shift toward agentic process automation (APA).
That’s why we are thrilled to announce the investment in Artian AI, a next-gen AI platform that delivers customizable multi-agent AI solutions to global financial services. Rather than simply layering AI onto existing workflows, Artian integrates AI agents at the core of enterprise operations to drive smarter, scalable transformation from within. With the APA market projected to scale to $45 billion by 2035, potentially overtaking RPA, Artian is positioned to disrupt how enterprises automate and innovate their processes.
APA represents a significant evolution beyond traditional RPA. While RPA mimics human actions by automating repetitive, rule-based tasks (like high-volume data entry or invoice processing), it lacks learning and decision-making capabilities. By contrast, APA leverages intelligent systems that not only understand context, but can adapt, learn over time, and enhance decision-making across complex, multi-step workflows spanning multiple platforms. Both have distinct strengths, but APA’s flexibility offers large enterprises greater potential to optimize dynamic and context-specific processes.
Artian has essentially revolutionized how automation workflows are created by enabling users to build intelligent workflow agents without traditional coding. Its Workflow Agent Builder easily transforms plain-English inputs into fully automated, end-to-end processes – steps, subgoals, and outcomes. It then generates a runnable agent with clear documentation and role assignments. And its intuitive platform interface gives customers full control over their automations with minimal support (these human-in-the-loop workflow supervisions are something RPA platforms struggle with), making it fast, accessible, and enterprise-ready. In total, Artian’s approach not only accelerates development but also unlocks endless new possibilities for dynamic, AI-driven workflows that can adapt and evolve autonomously.
Artian is helmed by Co-Founder and CEO, Prashant Reddy. Artian was born out of Prashant’s experience serving as Chief Architect and Head of Engineering for AI and Data at JP Morgan. There he saw firsthand how fragmented and limited existing RPA platforms were – designed for narrow, task-specific use cases, and lacking the flexibility to automate full, end-to-end workflows. Additionally, Prashant’s experience as a former buyer of automation solutions gives him strong credibility selling into large institutions. He understands enterprise-grade requirements and can clearly articulate how Artian outperforms traditional RPA tools.
Prashant is well-supported by his Co-Founder and CPO, Keith Andrew. Keith has extensive experience automating processes at the enterprise level, having launched the Foreign Exchange automated market making business at Morgan Stanley. Together, Co-Founders Prashant and Keith bring over 25 years of experience each at the intersection of AI, financial markets, and enterprise tech. They've led the design and deployment of mission-critical AI systems in some of the world’s most complex, high-stakes environments – translating advanced research into real-world enterprise impact.
As Artian continues to add agents to the platform, it will be expanding horizontally in banking and healthcare sectors (both primed for transformation due to their complexity, heavy regulation, and reliance on outdated systems), with vertical-specific integrations possible across a wide variety of large enterprises.
APA represents the future of workflow automation and a major step forward in how large scale organizations can improve process efficiency. With deep technical talent and serious enterprise credibility, Artian is uniquely positioned to execute in this space – making them a company to watch as agentic automation reshapes the enterprise landscape.
